What is FASFA and Why Should I Care?

FAFSA stands for the  The Free Application for Federal Student Aid . It  is the  form that can be prepared annually by current and prospective college students in the United States to determine their eligibility for student financial aid.

You should care  because the more you learn about filing for Student Aid the better your chance getting your fair share. Check out the  SAC Financial Aid Office Website  link.  CLICK AROUND YOU  MIGHT BE SURPRISED WHAT AID YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR. Often SAC provides  FAFSA and Dream Act Workshops in August  Plan ahead now!!!


Nothing comes with a catch!   The  catch  is you do have to fill out forms and send them in and you must meet certain deadlines .  Need help or confused ????? SAC has great student resources and they are committed to helping you

Assume you won't qualify  then  look up assume in the uncyclopedia and don't assume.  File  the application!!!!!

 My daughter is a recent college graduate and she qualified for work study funds  and loans where the interest was deferred until she was done with school.  But you'll never know what you might qualify for  if you don't ask and don't apply on time.

The weeks before the start of the  spring semester
is more  quiet on campus  than the first two weeks .  A great time for help with shorter lines and more personalized attention.
